Professional musician Beccy Owen needed a website that would allow her to keep all of her fans stocked up in gigs and music. The solution was a custom-built website through which fans can instantly buy CDs and gig tickets through the integrated shop, find gigs using a customised Google calendar/map and listen to music through the site using a customised jukebox. Beccy can also communicate to her fans via a blog and Twitter - particularly useful for sending last minute gig announcements via SMS.
Beccy had built up a mailing list of thousands of fans over the years, and she was finding it increasingly difficult to stay in touch with them. We integrated the mailing list sign-up through Beccy’s website and created a customised HTML template for her to use. Now Beccy can send email campaigns in her own time, and together we monitor the statistics to ensure the campaigns are as successful as possible.
